Playing in the kitchen

Published February 7, 2009 by Syllable

This week I’m toasting, serving pasta and even cleaning up the mess! Still in the imaginary kitchen 😀

Air Wine Bottle Opener

This cork popper is the perfect way to open that corked bottle – No tugs, no pulls, no corkscrews with this bottle opener. This advanced approach to uncorking wines is almost effortless. Just push the needle into the cork, pump, and pop. Injected air causes the cork to lift itself right out of the bottle. It comes with protective needle cover, and can be easily cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. No Air cartridge necessary. Made with high quality die-cast zinc construction and it comes with an attractive stainless steel stand for display.

Now if only I had some wine to try this on…

Mix up an utterly smooth treat with the power of a whirling vortex. Bigger is better – especially when it comes to a glass of chocolate milk! The Moo Mixer holds 470ml. of fun. This is the coolest milk accessory this side of Africa. An easy to use trigger button gets the party started. Perfect for mixing hot or cold drinks.

It now includes a spill resistant lid, and the large clear tumbler is detachable and dishwasher safe. It requires two AA batteries that are not included.

Yay! No more icky powder clots at the bottom of the glass…

Twirling Spaghetti Fork
This is for your boyfriend – if they’re anything like the guys I know, they have no idea of how to use a spoon to assist in the eating of messy pasta dishes. Also, show me a guy that doesn’t enjoy playing with his food 😛

Twirling is a better way to eat spaghetti and the motorized fork automatically winds up the pasta on the end of the fork! Now there’s less mess and more satisfying bits. Eating pasta has never been easier.

Because, let’s face it – he’s not the one who cleans up the mess. So now, no more mess!

And speaking of messes…

Robo Vacum

Picking up life’s little messes is easy with the Robo Vacum. This tiny desktop robot is a perfect for sucking up those kitchen crumbs and desktop debris.

It’s easy to use and easy to clean. Simply push the top button to activate the vacuum and slide over dry crumbs and other debris. No vacuum bags required. It holds all of the debris in its crumb compartment. Just pop open the top and empty it out.

I have one of these, and a word of advice: be patient, and only use for near-microscopic bits and a little at a time. Very cute though. Batteries are not included – and there’s a product warning *giggles* To avoid any misleading, this product is not a real robot and does not have any robotic functions, it does not move around by itself – it simply looks like a robot.

All these products are available from The Gadget Shop.
